The key

Authors note: This poem is about trust, and how when your trusted with something you must not give in. A key can have many different meanings and in this poem i tried to express them.

Secrets--
Opened, closed.
Revealing pathways
Drawn by its mystery.
Power--
Secured with a lock
Knowledge of where
The key-
The answer-
The Truth-
Shall remain a mystery.
Curiosity-
Controlling
Overpowering
Overshadowing
Trust is held within you,
To fight the temptation to look.

  1. This was a neat poem! I really enjoyed it. You may want to add a authors note though because I didn't know what your thought was when you wrote this which made the image more difficult to see.( I don't know if that made any sense) Good job though!
